Allen's hummingbird & banding issue

Hi folks.

So I went to a big cycling event in L.A. yesterday and (of course) come home with good hummingbird photos instead.

I like this shot best and I cropped the original image big-time. Looks to me like there are two issues I couldn't resolve in processing: 1) chromatic aberration on the purple sage, and; 2) some mild banding around the bottom of the image.

I couldn't get Lightroom 4 to do anything about the aberration even using the chromatic aberration tool.

The banding, I'm guessing, wouldn't be noticeable without cropping the image.

I have a few other shots that are decent but curious if there's anything I can do to improve this one as it's one of the better hummer photos I've taken. Tx, steve

Its a fine shot Steve and the banding is not an issue here. What camera and lens were you using?

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"
