Epson 4880 help

I can't seem to print an exact size when using 16 inch roll paper. No matter what settings I change it still seems to print out what IT wants. I have no problem on cut paper just the 16"roll. I'm PC, XP, CS4 16 bit. Any help would be appreciated. cell is 443-359-6312

Thank you very much I will have to study that. I've got a new problem. I was hoping I needed a new driver and downloaded it and now nothing works and the printer is gone and won't reload from the original disc.

Try rebooting Windows first. If that doesn't work or help, contact Epson directly. Drivers can be tricky to repair.

Have you tried using user defined paper size? And check retain size or minimal expansion. That seems to be the only way it works predictably on my 4900.

Thanks for the replies. Three calls to Epson, three different fixes, none that worked. Finally I got hold of a gentleman who works for Pro Digital Gear and he got me straight. For some reason on 16" roll paper you need to tell the computer that your paper is an extra inch wider. So on a 14 by 11 you put 15 x12 (however the print size is put as 14x11) printed landscape and it works beautifully. Don't know why it has to be so complicated but it worked. I'm a happy guy now.
