Can I get a list of images in a particular gallery?

I haven't been able to find an answer for this...

I created a gallery to backup my family's photos and videos.
There are a LOT of photos and videos (of course!)

I'm trying to verify whether a batch of images are in that gallery without trying to upload that batch again.

1) Is there a way to download a list of images and videos in a particular gallery?

Or

2) Is there a way to create a gallery that is only a list of images? If there is, then is it possible for that list to automatically update itself?

1. No, it's not possible to get a list of images. If you were to add the photos back to an in-browser uploader, you would be able to select if you would like to skip, upload or replace those duplicates.

2. If you were to create your own list of images, what you could do is upload that information into an HTML-Only gallery to your site

Just dump them back in the uploaded, all duplicates will be skipped.
Try one or two first that you know are dups.
