What is the best macro rail to buy? I am looking at this one on Amazon.

Which one would you recommend then??
I've never owned or used one of these, but for a while I used a modified bellows rail (single axis)

I have both the Adorama rail and a Manfrotto. If you're looking for the "best" in absolute terms I'd go for the Manfrotto over the Adorama, the reasons being that it has a lower profile, has a very fine cross-travel adjustment with a quick-release, adjusts from the ends, not the center, and since it is composed of two separate rails which attach together with either of the two standard mounting screw threads, you have a lot of flexibility--you can put it together in a standard "t" configuration, or with one rail canted, or with the tripod head between one rail and the other, or use the two independently.
If you're looking for the best value though, the Adorama is clearly a better value--it handles the basics adequately and costs about 1/4 as much.
I find mine to be of very solid construction, and I was surprised at the quality of it. having said that, I don't actually use it much. I either rely on my own judgement (I have good eyesight for my age) or I use Helicon Remote which does the same thing as a rail, but does it via your camera tethered to your PC, http://www.heliconsoft.com/heliconsoft-products/helicon-remote/ Only works with Canon and Nikon.
