I followed Harry's advice, using high speed and adjusting the EV to get a good exposure. Still not as sharp as I would like.

This was shot with the 70-200 2.8 + 2.0 TC a 1/1000s f8 and +2 EV. Any hints welcome.

If you look at the talons and head, it's damn sharp. The wings show motion blur which is typical at 1/1000s but doesn't detract. Add a little contrast to the image and you have a real winner here. thumb.gif

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"
