Happy Fourth of July to everyone.
Attended a fireworks display held by a local community last night. I have always wanted to try shooting fireworks and being as the family was keen on going, I thought I'd give it a try.
Took a bit of trial and error and a little practice on the correct timing, but by the end I was pretty happy with the results.
Here's what I used:
Nikon D-700
Nikon 28-200 3.5 zoom (pretty old lens originally purchased for a film camera, but quite practical for lugging around)
Tripod
Cable Release
After a bit of trial and error, I settled on ISO 100, F8, and SS Bulb.
