Hi,
would it be possible to change this text that appears on facebook. I do not find it very welcome for friend to click on the images and see what I am sharing. Are there other alternativeS?

You can change the text that is posted when you post to Facebook by following these steps.

account settings > Discovery > Search > SEO Settings > Homepage Meta Description> Type in that box what you would rather be posted instead> Save changes

Please understand that it will not remove or change the current posting. You will need to go here to make that current posting change.

As well, if you have a gallery description in place then that text will show.

So the hierarchy is

Gallery Description

if none

Site description

if none

Default SmugMug Description.

It doesn't look as if you followed Heather's (Teach) suggestion. Your site doesn't have a "homepage meta description" nor does the gallery have a gallery description. That's why the default SmugMug description is showing. To have your own description show, you would to fill in a homepage meta description:
account settings > Discovery > Search > SEO Settings > Homepage Meta Description
or a gallery description in your gallery.

If you fill in the homepage meta description, it is used for all galleries with no gallery description.
