It's SUCH a colourful world out there...

All too often, my macros are dominant in green. These are no exception but occasionally, I get the opportunity to bring in a splash of colour. These shots were taken on our potentilla bush which, although hasn't really flowered properly yet is still giving off wonderful rich greens, pinks and reds from the leaf tips and buds.





The bud starting to open here shown in the blob of pink

Hi Carebear, the lens used is a Canon 100mm F2.8L coupled with a single 12mm extension tube.
