A few months ago, I got in contact with Michael James (a photographer based in San Jose, CA) He was kind enough to fly me all the way out to the west coast to shoot a double header with him (I'm based in NJ). The weddings came out awesome, and I got to venture through California, experience In-N-Out burger, drive over the Golden Gate Bridge, and a bunch of other sightseeing. I was truly thankful for this experience. As a thank you, I documented Mike, Jehn, and their son on our fun California adventures. The rest of the set can be found on my blog.

The second half of these are really good; the images when they're at what I assume is there home.

What an opertunity that was. California politically is a grave yard of broken stones. But, the country around California is as beautiful and diverse as any where on the globe! If you get the chance some day visit the state and loot it all over, spend a couple weeks. Not long enough by a good start. The desert in So Cal, the coast line, 101 is a beautiful trip. Wine country, orange country, the mountains as beautiful as anywhere. Much as I hated going to cal, I loved looking at the state. No state has the diversity of country that Cal does.

Thanks Alex! The light was pretty harsh when we went sight seeing (around 12-3ish), but the photos at his house were perfect. I swear, the lighting there is always good..truly a photographer's dream house :D

I have to say California was a huge eye opener about how different the world can be. I've lived in NJ all my life and this was my first big trip across the US. The mountains were breathtaking. I hope to go back there again soon and have more of a chance to explore.
