I've never seen a hover with these lovely white flanks before.
My first Brush Footed Doli-Fly. Only mentioned this because Brian posted a fantastic specimen not so long back and I thought I'd got one back then hehe. This is a HUGE crop as it was quite far into the Cordyline and I couldn't get any closer.
Soldier Fly
This Doli was about 4mm in length. This is also a crop.
Another fly in the garden
Beetle - Not sure on the ID
And finally, a Waxy Lacewing (Coniopterygidae)
