This has happened at my site as well. Why should I have to clear my cookies and cache because of a Smugmug error?

It was just a suggestion that typically fixes problems. At the time of the suggestion I don't think we were 100% sure the problem was on our end. It was, and it has now been fixed. Sorry for the inconvenience!

I'm sorry about that. The stretchy slideshow you're using in your bio box has long been replaced by the new html5 slideshow you can find here. Please update to the new html5 slideshow to correct the issue.

I have tried to update this 3 times, following the instructions exactly, and I even deleted all of my other customizations to try to make this work. Nothing is happening. Can you look at my page and tell me where I went wrong? :'(

Are you sure you have the correct html5 slideshow javascript in your top javascript?
It doesn't start with this.

//
// Start of JFriend HTML5 Slideshow code in top javascript

Looks like the correct HTML5 version is not in the bottom javascript either.

I do see the correct HTML5 in your biobox.

password on slideshow
Im supposed to delete the old slideshow code from my my java top and bottom and css, before adding the new slideshow code. The problem is Im not a programmer and can't tell what is what. Extreme frustration with this. Im tired of having to correct issues that your upgrades bring and having random people tell me my website is messed up.
Can someone tell me what I need to delete or help me out. It would be much appreciated. Thanks

Fix the show you have now first.
Go to the source gallery and look in the browser URL/address for the gallery key.

Example of another gallery. Gallery number in yellow, key in red.

Add the AlbumKey line to your biobox and replace the x's with the album key you find in the source gallery.
<html>
<script>
var ssConfig = {
AlbumID: '4555134',
AlbumKey: 'xxxxxxxx',
newWindow: 'false',
...

Hey thanks Allen!!! :D I think Ill just stick with the old one for now. Ive noticed since I upgraded to a 27inch monitor the slideshow stretches too much vertically, is there anyway I can keep it locked more square like my galleries?

Your other thread (here) has already been answered.

Please don't post the same question in multiple threads; that doesn't get you an answer faster but it does cause extra work for the helpers here.

Since I already asked here and don't want to open a new thread, can anyone tell me if I can lock my old flash slideshow from stretching too much on large monitors? Or just keep it locked into one size similar to my galleries?
