DSS133: Last Minute Feedback Please!

I have already submitted #1 below for DSS133. But I now have some doubts if the extra light traces really add to the picture and somehow make the composition a bit more interesting, or if they really don't add much and are actually somewhat distracting.

So I would appreciate any last minute feedback I can get on whether I should keep my current entry, or if I should submit #2... Thanks...

I much prefer it without the lines. They are very distracting to me.
