Lovely series Brian. The lacewing larvae are excellent.

So that's what it is... a Marguerite!

We have one of those (Think it's the one I took one of my hover shots on) although it's been visited by slugs grrr... but I've fixed that

Well I think they are marguerites -herbaceous perennial, largish flower 2 to 3" in diameter.

Good series , might be a Shasta daisy , margarites have much smaller 1 inch flowers I think
