Winter flowers

Still learning my D50. These were taken at the Arizona State Capital on Saturday. Of the 150 or so pictures that I took, I always seem to like the "different" ones. Taken with the 70-300G lens that I hear so much bad about. I don't know much yet about dSLR's, but I would say this lens isn't THAT bad.

    Hiya Stef,

    while I really dig the composition and colours in the first picture (definitely my favourite from the 3) the thing that bugs me is the DOF, it's a personal thing, I just love the stem of flowers being in focus, and it is just slightly in front of the DOF (or so it appears)

    Thanks for sharing, and again, great colours on that first one!
