Sharing virtually with colleagues

Dear all,
I wanted to ask if it would be possible to have a virtual domain under the one I already have. I would like for example to show to my colleagues some photos I captured from the workplace . If I make a library and give them the access code they will of course see my account name and they will be able to spot my shared gallery I have for friends.

I understand that you will have here the objection that the a public gallery is public for everyone

but a) this public library is only advertised through my facebook account that has only 50 members that are all friends and none of my workplace is there.
b) is of course okay if some colleague one day finds my public gallery but this different for 30 colleagues looking at my public gallery on the same day and discussing about it.

Is there something like that in smug mug?

Regards
A.

It's not possible to have another domain name that only works for certain parts of your site, but there is a very easy solution to your dilemma. Try using the Hide Owner gallery setting in the gallery in question. Hide Owner does three things:

    1) it hides the navigational "breadcrumb" at the top of your gallery
    2) it changes the URL to use a generic www.smugmug.com URL, instead of your site nickname
    3) it uses a generic SmugMug appearance in the gallery, ignoring any customization you've added.

Hide owner is for making an anonymous gallery with no links back to your homepage.

To enable this option, just go to the gallery in question and click Tools > Gallery Settings, set Hide Owner to Yes, and save the changes. :)
