Contemplative bride

I don't normally do weddings and don't promote myself as a wedding photographer. However, I have a large extended family and occasionally get 'roped in' as the photographer. One of my nieces got married last month and this is my favourite shot of her - taken while she was getting ready for the big moment and she because somewhat introspective and contemplative.

Not sure about this one. Yes technically good but I don't get a sense of contemplation. Maybe because her eyes are shut. ne_nau.gif

When I think of contemplation I see a person with their head tilted, eyes open, sort of staring at nothing.

It's a great shot, however it would have been even better had it been shot from a higher angle. Also, any time I think "contemplative", or "pensive", ...I think B&W...

light is great, focus, and all that are good. The expression is not really doing it for me at all though..does not say contemplative to me..it says, caught her "in between" moment
