Don't want my bio photo on my home page banner

Can I remove the box for my bio portrait in the templates that have a request for a portrait?

I do not wish to have my photo on my banner, but the template I like seems to require one. If none is selected, I get a shaded box of a portrait photo.

which template is it that you are trying to select? Also you should be able to remove that box from the template after you have applied it to your site.

I believe the template is SmugMug. Here's a screen capture showing what I mean next to ClearwaterPhotography.

Looking at your site it would appear that you were able to remove that box.

Sorry, but the shadow of a head is still there when I try that template. I circled it in red. I believe it is Smug Mug template. I just don't want a bio photo. Can't this be done??
