After you click migrate;

1.) you will no longer be able to access your customizations on your old Smugmug site ( Corrected. Not true button is now visible on my site. )

2.) When you upload images for your old site you may have to find them in a preview folder and then move them to the correct gallery.

3.) Nothing else seems to change on your legacy site unless you do 2 things click "Unveil" and then type "unveil" in a box on the next window that pops up. you can not accidentally switch over to the new site.

4.) I have gotten a warning dialog stating that the change I was making to a gallery would affect the existing site. I have not been able to get that dialog again but watch for it and proceed carefully if you get it.

    Oh Lord. I just asked almost precisely this same question (#1) in a different thread, but got an entirely different answer from Zac. I wish this stuff could have been told to us / given to the "oldies" around here in a straight list, because I don't have time for this today, in fact, I don't have time until a month from now to mess with my site, so it's kinda, sorta, VERY important!!! So you are 100% SURE about number one? I already knew about #2, but if #1 is true, this word needs to get spread very very quickly!

    I can not confirm this. It may be possible that the customization feature is just temporarily down during the transition. I don't have that button any more. I have read elsewhere on Dgrin of other people having the same issue.

    Smugmug does not currently have an answer on how long they will allow legacy sites to remain.

    You are incorrect on number 1, unless I and Anna Lisa are misunderstanding you. You can still get to your advanced customization on the legacy site. Same as always.
