Question about new site and unlisted galleries

I migrated recently (haven't published it yet) and I'm curious about unlisted items. In my preview, many of my unlisted galleries are showing up. Will they still be unlisted if I publish it, or are unlisted galleries exempt and always on display? I'd kind of like to not have certain sets viewable by the public, for privacy issues. And without having looked through fully yet, I don't know if this is normal or a bug, or I'm just being paranoid.

    Hi there

Look on top of your gallery etc. You'll see a subtle indicator that the gallery (folder) is unlisted.

While in the Preview Sandbox you won't be able to see "visitors view" but once you unveil you will be able to do so by logging out. We do reveal the privacy setting for each and every page/gallery/folder to you through the organizer as well as through viewing your site, even during preview.

Unlisted gallery behaviour has not changed. Visitors will never see them.

    hope that helps.

I was worried about that too since photos in my unlisted gallery were showing on my homepage while I was logged in. I went ahead and took the leap to publish and reveal, then I logged out. I figured I'd just delete the photos if it didn't work (I don't have many photos). But, all was OK. The photos from the unlisted gallery were no longer visible to me once I logged out.

    unlisted, say what?

Um, this is not true for me. I have an unlisted gallery that does indeed show up when I am logged out. A bit concerning, that one. It is showing up on my homepage when I use the Gallery Block with recent galleries.

A second bug seems to be that if I have all unlisted galleries in a public folder, that folder shows up in the Folder block as an empty folder. I would expect the behavior to be that it doesn't show up at all. Yes, I did just unlist the folder, but still.

This behavior seems to have corrected itself. Not sure what the deal was.

How are you supposed to edit the look if you can't see visitor view.
You have to be surprised when you unveil and can't turn back.

Apparently you log out, and view it as a viewer. Which is a switch I have never liked on sites.

This will not work. If you log out smugmug goes back to legacy mode.

    Cheers,
