The date modified is useless to me - I have no problem if it shows in addition to date taken, but if we can only have one date showing my vote goes to date taken.

Both dates are important to me.
Don't know if this is relevant, but several months ago, I reported a bug in the legacy system where Date Modified was not being updated when photos were Replaced. As of last month, the helpdesk told me the engineers were still working on it.

Both are important to me, too. And I noticed that bug too. I hadn't yet figured out that it was replacing them that did it. Glad you reported it, but....aaargh.
This is an issue for me, too. When I download an image and look at the EXIF info, it clearly has the correct timestamps in Date Time Original and Date Time Digitized. It's just not displayed correctly.
Incidentally, when using the Lightroom plugin to sync pictures, the plugin does not appear to be able to see any timestamp in the images on SM.
The originals downloaded from Smug do have the correct data.

Yep, they do. The point is that SM have our date/time info, they've promised to keep it, they've kept that promise but we can't readily see the info. It's bizarre that to find the proper date/time taken for a pic that I uploaded I have to then download it.
I notice that long file names are wrapped now. How about getting rid of the scroll bar by just making the app window a little bigger.
Also please one size bigger font. This is just too tiny to read easily.

Yup, seeing the same here. Needs both dates.

i rename all my photos on import using EXIF date and time of photo taken. Currently date differs from filename.
Also it looks like ExposureTime is wrapped because of the long filename. It would be nice if the info window would use word wrap for long filenames...

This can't be a difficult thing to fix.
