there seems to be an issue with reordering pictures/galleries which i had to do as you it seems that you cannot put more than 300 galleries in a folder anymore... and so smugmug splitted the folders...
any help is more than appreciated

300 is the limit for folders. If you had 350 galleries in a cateogry prior to migration, we'll break it up into two buckets.. Bucket-1 would have 300 galleries and Bucket-2 would have the remaining 50 galleries

SmugMug should have somewhere documented that there is a 300 galleries-limit - as you will loose all links by SmugMug breaking it up into multiple buckets - and thanks to a bug in reording one of these buckets (with 300 Galleries inisde...) got completey deleted on my page - this seems now lost forver - you should have given that some more thought! before you announce the big new exciting site - which is a completley mess imo

Pointing out a problem without being so harsh doesn't make a solution harder to find...

Did you ever get an answer to this, Al? I've been also wondering about the messed up links (whether old or new site) when these folders get split. I feel like I'm going to have a real mess on my hands when I migrate, because of all the limits. I don't see what the new site does with these links to folders that it's deciding to split up.
