How to Delete Copies but NOT Originals?

OK, I am experimenting with the new site's organization tools. I will often copy an image in a various galleries. For instance, I copied photos in a a "Virtual Slideshow" that I used on the old site's homepage. When I delete an image from that particular gallery it also deletes it from the original gallery! WTF?

How to delete a copy of an image? For that matter, how to copy an image to another "folder?"

After stumbling around, and even reading the Organze Help Page, I still cannot find an efficient means of deleting/creating copies on the Organize Site page. I did manage to sort out how to "remove" a copy from a gallery. It's not very efficient though. As soon as you remove it, the next gallery view you get is where the original photo is still located, NOT the gallery you're actually working on that had the copy.

Sorry to use copy/paste for this answer. I answered in another thread earlier on the same subject.
To remove a collected image, select the tools icon under the image and select 'remove'.
Correct, if you go into the organizer and select the image and click on the trash can the image ( both collected and original ) will be deleted.
Collecting and removing collected images via organizer sounds like a great idea. I'm not sure what's in store for added features with the organizer, but I'm going to pass this up to our product team..
The other issues you've listed I'll passalong to QA so they can check, replicate and file bugs as needed.

I believe I saw that thread. No worries about copy/pasting an answer.

I too hope that a far more efficient, and complete Organizer is on the way. Doing everything individually really isn't very smooth.
