After looking at a few more of the shots, I couldn't go to bed to get some rest before heading back out with Harry bright and early in the morning.

This little guy just wanted to be seen.

Comments and suggestions are welcome.

Very good is that the one he keeps in his driveway headscratch.gif looks like you both are having fun and doing good thumb.gif

That is one of my favorite birds. I haven't seen one around here since summer.

ginger (but I did see that Eagle, am semi retired now, after fulfilling that life long dream with the eagle.) Next summer the green herons might be back, or I might be able to see what is here.
After all is said and done, it is the sweet tea.

Thanks all. I must admit that the wetlands are almost in Harry's front yard, but this Heron was officially in the wetlands.

That is a super shot Dixe. The colors are dead on, the exposure perfect, and you caught some fine detail. ylsuper.gif

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

Thanks Harry. We were standing together when I shot this one in the morning. We were in the SE corner of the wetlands at the same intersection where we shot the sunset.
