Photo Feature

2nd day of using the new smugmug. Beside the better aesthetics presented, we are now having a hard time doing these:

Moving images to another gallery or folder or creating new ones
Hide and Unhide feature - One by one. Wish it had a multiple images unhide/hide function
Features - I have been looking at the site and there are no choice to feature a photo so that when looking at the home page it would be more pleasing to look at besides a folder.

Re-arranging is now easier. Site wide capability still intact (watermark and security)
Love that you can now embed HTML code easily, on any gallery using the smart gallery feature.

Change is usually frowned upon and I know that it is for the better. If someone had these issue, please help. Thanks!

You can place a photo (or multiple photos or a slideshow) on your homepage. Customize the homepage, open Photo under Add Content Blocks, and drag the type of element you want to your homepage.

You can see an example of showing a single photo on my homepage. I only show the photo but I could just have easily included folders above or below the photo.

Ok - found the featured image under the organize button. Within the folders i found a settings button. So scratch that question.

Hi Denise! Thanks! Found that too! It is more a featured photo that i am looking for. But glad i found it. I also performed what you suggested and it looks like i got that down correctly.

Just looking for the move feature and other items. The hide and un hide feature is probably a future production. <- We would like to see a multiple hide-unhide page so that we can QA correctly when presenting to clients and future clients.

Yes, how could I move photos from 1 gallery to another? I tried to drag them but got a hint:drag into the highlighted area. I cannot see anything. I think this new smugmug really lacked some beta testing.
