Potentially dumb question, re: downloading

Hi all,

I've got my galleries right click protected, but while I was working on my revamped site today, I noticed a download icon on my photos... and I was able to download one with no trouble... I kind of feel dumb about this, but I'm a tad concerned, since it would negate the reason for right-click protection. Can someone put my fears to rest and tell me my gut's correct on this -- that it actually *is* just for gallery owners, and won't show when I publish my new site? (...Please? Heh.)
