Anyone else having log in issues to their smugmug.com page, that has not resolved by clearing the cache/cookies/history & restarting?

I am using Firefox 22 on an iMac OSX 10.8.4

I can log in just fine with Safari on the same machine. But I am unable to on Firefox.

    Hi Duke,

Can you give me the exact message you are seeing?

We are continuing to investigate the issue with Firefox. We apologize for any inconvenience.

    Michael,

What was just an minor inconvenience is not down right annoying.....

I still can not log into SmugMug with FF on my iMac.

Historically I could always have logged in on this machine, but the new SmugMug comes and I am unable to. The only thing that has changed is the new login screen / new smugmug. I have emailed the help desk and got the auto response saying they got my email and then a follow up form letter "We are sorry for the delay..." You and I traded a couple of PM's but nothing that offers any potential solutions or to help towards a fix.

My password is entered correctly, sometimes it show this screen, sometimes it just acts like you never hit enter/clicked login.

I have followed the directions found on the help.smugmug.com site that eventually lead me to "How to clear / accept Cookies" over at Firefox.

    http://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/websites-say-cookies-are-blocked-unblock-them

I have restarted the browser multiple times.

I have restarted the computer multiple times

I am running "Ad-Block" plus as a plug in, but I disabled it, and now have I have un-installed it all together with no success. (ad block plugin)

I should note, that I typically use "remember me" and have not had to log
in on this machine (or any of my machines) in a very long time. With the
new login screen now it will not remember me anymore and is asking me to
log in but it is like, even though the check box is checked the "command" is not being recognized?

    A little help?

    Hi Duke,

Are you running any other plugins or extensions? If you wouldn't mind either listing them or just taking quick screenshots and sharing those.

Does this happen every time, without fail, or does it seem to be random? I just updated to 23.0.1 on OSX 10.8.4 and I can't replicate the problem.

    Standing by,

This has only happened once. I recognized it around 12:30 (CST) Wednesday July 30th, 2013 and it is still happening. I didn't even realize that I was not still logged in until I tried to migrate after watching launch of the New SmugMug.

I have not been able to log in on this machine (early 2009) since y'all updated the login screen it seems.

Here is the peculiar bit. With My MBP Retina and my also my old mac mini , I can log in with fire fox without issue. Those machines are identical in setup as the iMac is with regards to Firefox and plug in's & add ons.

I did recognize tonight that the Java add on is out of date on this machine (is on the MBP too) so I am updating it. (just did. not change in behavior).

I freely admit, that this a problem that is unique to one machine in my house, everything worked fine before the new login page, but now I can not login after the updated login page, and the login page is not remembering me (if that helps?). My machine has not changed, no new software, no new hardware.

While it seems to be a conflict on that one machine, what the conflict is, I'm not sure. I have to assume that there is a 3rd party program that is also interfering or a strange setting in the browser. Can you please try deactivating all of the plugins and extensions, or better yet, start FF in safe mode? Reading from here, hold down the Option key while starting your Mozilla application. (If the Profile Manager opens, select a profile and then hold down the Option key again while clicking the button to start Firefox)

As an alternate method, go to Utilities (in the Applications folder) and open Terminal, then run:

    /Applications/Firefox.app/Contents/MacOS/firefox-bin -safe-mode
