Anyone heard of the youth sports photography franchise sports-section.com? I'm considering becoming an independant contractor for them.

You might check out www.SportsShooter.com ... it's a great site and members are likely to know. Not sure how you'll ask, tho - I think you have to qualify as a working sports pro to belong. Maybe a search of their forums?
