Retreiving referral credits

Hi - hope someone can help. Have just downgraded my account from Portfolio to Power thinking I would get a pro rata refund.

What happened is that the credit was added to my referral credit.

Now if I try to upgrade back to Portfolio it is asking me for a years subscription from today (not unreasonable) but if I wanted to have my referral credit paid back to my card how could I do that?

Alternaatively how could I get back to the Portfolio account with the same expiry date as before (ie use my referral credit for that purpose but not to extend my subscription for a longer period)

    Update
    Hi again - have had no replies to this so I asked a hero if I could get the referral credit refunded and what would happen if I cancelled my account.

    Well it seems they took that as an instruction and cancelled it anyway and refunded something (but I don't know what) and now I am not getting any response to my emails requesting an answer.

    So as you can imagine not very happy with Smugmug or their support at the moment and hoping that someone can help to sort this out for me?

    All sorted now - I think that support were inundated with queries!
