Panasonic has announced their first dual-stabilized body, the Lumix GX7 (Micro Four Thirds).

Apparently, if you mount a Panasonic lens with OIS, the GX7 will use that form of image stabilization. However, if you mount a lens that is not stabilized, the body has sensor-shift stabilization. This also includes adapted lenses.

WTG Panasonic! :clap

Other improvements (vs the GX1):
2 - Control Dials, similar to the better dSLRs.
Improved sensor sensitivity and noise signature.
Both a tilting LCD monitor, "and" a tilting electronic viewfinder.
Wi-Fi connectivity, plus Near Field Communications setup.
4 - Function Buttons.
5 - fps with the normal shutter and AF, plus a claimed 40 fps using the electronic shutter.
1/8000th shutter speed. (Bulb up to 120 seconds.) (X-Sync 1/320th)

P.S. About the only glaring omission for this camera is the lack of an input for an external microphone for video.
