I believe the Thumbs Up / Thumbs Down functionality was replaced with a single "like" button under each photo.

In my open case with SM I asked, in addition to my current issue, if there was a document to show the differences b/t the legacy site and new site. This would be a great asset, especially for items like this.

I don't see any "like" on any photo.

Hmmm, I see no like button. If the thumbs up / thumbs down is gone, so is the most popular page.

I added the popular box to my homepage.
/popular link still works showing all as does legacy site.

Interesting. All my galleries are Smugmug style, and every photo has a "like" button under it (I am logged out so this is what my visitors see).

It's a small, very discrete button below the photo (at least on the theme I use).

I see a share button but no "like". Using all Smugmug style.

Did a page "select all" and nothing shows.

It's a tiny icon below the main photo in smugmug style or at the bottom of the image in lightbox.

I've only checked a couple of galleries on my site but it seems pretty consistent.

The popular page is still available at /popular.

Not seen here in lightbox. Maybe not seen when logged in? That's the only choice I have before unveiling.

I see "like" button in styles other than "Smugmug" too. Mine was "Collage Landscape" Key is you have to be logged out.

Just another problem. Not being able to see what your site looks like to visitors without unveiling.

What are your share settings for the gallery? I didn't use the feature in the legacy site and it isn't on mine either.

As above - this LIKE button only visitors can see, meaning when you are logged in you don't see it.

Does anyone notice a change to the 'like' button once clicked? I signed out and mine doesn't react in an obvious way to show someone they clicked successfully. I assume popular gallery inclusion is automatic, but would be nice to have it change.

Good suggestion. I hope this makes its way to the list of things to be modified.

Thanks! Me too. If users don't see a visual confirmation, they'd be less likely to continue 'liking' photos.

Allen, Might I ask for your advice and help again?
I have created a popular page but it will not display as a conventional gallery like that on your site.
I created a page within a folder and added a multiple photo container to this page pointing to "Popular Photos". I can only get this page to display as a grid and not as a conventional SmugMug gallery. The same goes for "Recent photos". (Popular and Recent appear to mimic the legacy site).

Have you any suggestions about how I might arrange a display of Popular and Recent as a galleries like yours?

As ever, I thank you in advance for any light you may be able to shine on the problem.
    James.

I don't think I created anything, just put a link in my menu pointing to /popular.
Add /popular behind your site url and that should work. It's a Smug system page like /keyword, /search and /date.

    Hi James,

You are using Photo Content Blocks, which only show a couple of different styles. You could create a new smart gallery that pulls your Popular photos instead. This will then allow you to choose the SM Style.
