White-Inyo Solitude

Went to the Ancient Bristlecone Pine Forest for a memorial and stayed a few extra days for solitude and some photography. Just got a new Canon 6d and here are a couple of it's first images:

    Love them! Great composition! Makes the point and makes it in a very interesting manner! Only thing that I reluctantly complain about is that they are tad over-sharpened so gives it a plastic feeling. JMO

    I'm kind of mixed on the oversharpening. It really makes the textures pop, but there are some halos. These are both really good compositions.
