Tahoe stream

here are two different crops of pretty much the same thing. i wanted your opinion on which one looks better. also any suggestions you have on the photos themselves. any help will be much appreciated. thank you

    I prefer #2 but it's not the crop it's the tone and exposure. Nicer feel to my eyes, and peaceful. thumb.gif

    i agree. it has a very nice "flow" to the composition. also number 1 the rock just to the right of the waterfall seems a little harsh. might try to lighten it up on PS.ne_nau.gif its a bit distracting.

    I like the first one too, the color and exposure, I prefer the warmer browner tones.

    I prefer /2, the stream kinda laeds you to the fall.. the rocks in /1 are cut off and make the composition a little bitty. Lovely colours and textures in both. thumb.gif
    What shutterspeed did you use??
