URGENT: My site is falling apart

I have played with the new smugmug, but have not unveiled it because there are too many unresolved issues.
But in the mean time, it appears that my current site is falling apart.
For example, as a regular user (not logged in):
http://www.dterryphotography.com/Events/BYU-Management-Society-2007
The above path has publicly visible galleries in it. However, if I attempt to navigate to it, starting at the root, going to Events, then going to BYU Management Socieity 2007, the URL changes to say this instead: http://www.dterryphotography.com/Other/BYU-Management-Society-2007
Note the word "Other" instead of Events. The navigation changed along the way. And the result is NO visible galleries.
If I am logged in, I can see the galleries, I can see that they are indeed public, but interestingly enough, the URL changes to Other for me too.
That's just one thing. This morning I noticed that half of my wedding subcategories now have a "-1", "-1-1" or "-1-1-1" appended to the subcategory name. And I found that when attempting to create events those subcategories don't even show up in the list.
For example, what should be http://www.dterryphotography.com/Weddings/Marshall-and-Jessica now has -1 appended, and when I click on it, the URL changes to http://www.dterryphotography.com/Other/Marshall-and-Jessica-1. Note that the word Other appears in this URL now too. It appears after clicking on the subcategory under Weddings. (these are private galleries and not visible by navigation anyway, but they are no longer accessible for event creation)
Anyway, things are getting messed up on the old site and I'm not ready for the new site due to limitations in the current implementation.
HELP. Can this be fixed? Reversed?

Got one response from a Smugmug Hero saying that it was probably because I changed the gallery organization in Preview mode even though I never touched any of it. I just don't buy it. All I did was swap themes and customize the look of a few things. I never even entered the "Organize" section yet.
A bunch of top level categories have been clubbed under "Other" completely messing up the navigation and breadcrumbs. Even worse, all the galleries under them are invisible to regular users. Smugmug Hero said it was coz they are unlisted, except they aren't and I have confirmed that...not to mention that they were perfectly visible before I migrated to preview the new Smugmug.
This had better be reversible otherwise I and I'm sure many others are going to be extremely upset. The entire premise of being in a Sandbox mode is false if simply migrating your site can destroy your legacy site even if you haven't unveiled it.
I just discovered exactly the same thing!
I previewed the New look after the 6-hour overnight migration process yesterday morning. I only looked at a few designs for a total of 1/2 hour then left things alone. I did NO fiddling or changes whatsoever to my content after seeing what others were going through, here.
So... When logged out to see my Legacy site... same as you got. Still got burned even when I did nothing in the "preview" area other than migrate and look at a few designs.
I will be emailing them about this, and I'd better not get blamed for it with the "you must have done xyz..." BS.

As a result, my navigation bar doesn't work anymore either. If anyone clicks on 'client galleries', it goes to the wrong page.
Got this response today from SM:
"Hi S.
Thanks for contacting SmugMug Support.
I'm very sorry about this issue. Our engineers are looking into it, and a fix should be rolled-out soon.
Stand by...
All the best .
Hero's name
So they are aware, at least.
