Where do I go to bulk edit a gallery for captions and keywords?
Where do I go to crop a gallery of thumbs?
I go into single edit photo details in a gallery and I can not see the photo behind the
edit box so have to guess what's all in the photo especially adding keywords.

Go to Organize > Organize Site > select the gallery > click on the wrench > select Caption & Keywords
Can't help with your second question though. Sorry.

disagree completely. The organizer is the bomb! Just use it and embrace it - so much faster and easier.
I just gave my site an enema, losing tons of crap that I no longer need there, and it took about 10 minutes.

I, for one, agree with that statement, but I don't think the criticism is about functionality. It is that all this is very new and it is not intuitively obvious where to go to accomplish a task. Especially when it seems it should reside under function A instead of under function B.
To my simple brain "Organize" means to move things around. Captioning and Keywording seems to me to be a Gallery related activity.
Therefore it seems like it is simply residing in the wrong place. Plus of course, I had to keep clicking all over creation until I clicked on the correct wrench. Now I just hope I'll be able to remember that fact when I have to do this again.

But the thing is, in other ways we're like night & day, because you at least understand coding & can maybe get this thing into submission in a way. I will, however, be reduced to going around asking the same, mind-numbing questions of all of you brains in a few months or whenever I'm able to brave the mess... "how do you move the blah-blah to the blah-blah?" and all that same crap I had to ask 5 or so yrs ago. Ugh, I thought I wouldn't have to go through all that again. Be prepared for my also asking you to send around one of your vultures to pick up my dead body parts after I've gone over the brink with the changeover... :giggle :puke
