Potter's hands

Having never previously posted to this thread or even photographed "people," thought I'd submit this as a first attempt.

The potter was working away when I snapped this. Shot with a Nikon D300 modified for infrared (IR) imaging. The IR photo was converted to black and white for the final image.

    Hmmm, difficult. Personally I think it would fit great in a series or as a blow-up picture for a museum or store about ceramics.
    As stand-alone picture, it is less interesting. But then again I am a model photographer, so WTF do I know about this kind of pictures hey.. In each case well done.
