Hey everyone. For the last couple weeks my photos on my site have stopped displaying. :scratch

You can see the problem at www.kevindalyphotography.ca

Has this happened to anyone else?

I've contacted Smug Support and Go Daddy and both can't find the issue that would cause this problem.

Here's the last email I received from a support hero:

I have updated your DNS at GoDaddy.com for you. This has not updated to the public yet and is still showing the wrong CName to the Public. You may want to contact GoDaddy.com to make sure there is not a problem updating. Here is a screenshot to show the updates: http://screencast.com/t/1psXv8bgra

If you have not had a chance to yet, please take a moment to check out some of our new help pages for the New SmugMug here: http://help.smugmug.com/

Any suggestions on how to fix this problem???

You may want to check the following: Go to your gallery where the photos reside, click on Settings, click on Security & Privacy and make sure External Embedding is turned on. Good Luck!

After converting to the new smugmug some users (iphone, internet explorer) were unable to see images and were getting a "stack overflow at line 0" message. When I turn on "External Embedding" they can now see the images but still get the error.

So I'm half way home, but I still have several questions....

Is there a way to turn this on for all galleries? Is there a reason why the conversion to the new smugmug would have caused this issue? Why does "external" embedding need to be turned on for people to see the images on the smugmug site directly?

Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated...

Sorry KSDaly, I did not read your question properly in the first place. I assumed you had just switched to the new smugmug and this was a new problem and not that it had been happening for a while in the old smugmug. You have probably already looked at this but here is a guide on linking your pics to your website: http://help.smugmug.com/customer/portal/articles/93260-how-do-i-post-my-photos-in-forums-and-blogs-

It looks as though they found a problem in your DNS settings (which I don't know why that would suddenly be a problem when it has been working previously) but I know that anytime you update DNS it can take several days for it to completely update al of the DNS servers on the web to properly point to the correct spot. I am hoping this is it and the problem will magically go away today or tomorrow, but it sounds like it is something else since it changed without you touching the system.

Sorry I could not help much more than that! Good Luck!

It's unfortunate. I'll have to move to another web service this week if this can't be resolved.
