Customization - All or Nothing :^(

So I could well be missing something here & if I am that would be great but from what I can see customization is limited to All or 1! (ie all galleries or folders or just one gallery or folder).

It would be really nice if you could set a theme for all galleries within a folder at one time, this was something I could do in the old SM.

for larger sites ( I have around 500 galleries I think) this would be brill. Just let the galleries inherit customisations from the folders. e.g. I could then have customisations purely for Wedding galleries, and each of the wedding galleries inherits it.

Amen. If it exists they didn't make it very obvious. Maybe new galleries inherit (no idea)?

I've so far found no way to specify customization for a set of galleries like we did for a category
or sub-cat on the legacy site. Or specific multiple cats and sub-cats.

It's either "all galleries" or "this gallery" or "all folders".
With the multiple levels we have now we need. A few I can think of.
"all galleries in this folder", "all folders in this folder", "flow down all folders"
