Making Events Featured on front page?

hi all!
Maybe I am just not seeing it but I, for the life of me, cannot figure out how to make my events the thing that is featured on the front page. Before I was able to have Featured Events show up and nothing else.
(I do separate galleries for each part of a wedding day and them make an event page for the clients)

You can find the Featured Events content block in "Customize Site -> Navigation". Drag the "Featured Events" block to your home page.
Does that solve your problem?
