Are permalinks to pictures changed after migration?

I have a large number of images posted in a Wordpress blog. I used the share feature in smugmug to get http permalinks to the pictures for the insertion in Wordpress. If I migrate, will those links still work? Thanks!

    New links that you grab after you migrate are different than the old links - but the old links still work. Like you I have many photos in my blog. The photos are still there after I migrated and unveiled the new smug. I use the embed form of the links and that continues to work properly.

    If you want to verify that that it works properly take a look at my blog. I switched to the new smug on July 30th; the posts from before that date were from legacy smug.
