Choosing folders for home page

I am still a little lost in sorting out smugmug customization with the new format. How does one decide which folders show up on home page. How can a folder be hidden from the home page?

Thanks for either an answer or a pointer to where the question is answered on the help and tutorial site.

I think there are a couple of options that you could look into. If you want to make a Folder private or unlisted, it will not show up on the homepage (once you've logged out). This is done in the Folder settings - do you know how to get there?

If you don't want to make a Folder private or unlisted, you could also modify the Folder section on the homepage and choose specifically which Folders you want to show. First, click on Customize Site, then make sure to click on the Homepage. Then, click on the wrench tool next to Folders (either on the page or on the navigation bar on the right), to open the Folders settings. On the Basics tab, there is a field called "Select From", and there are various option, including Folders I Choose. Then, you'd just pick which Folders you want to show. But, I'm guessing the unlisted or private option is the better one.

Actually the second option is what I was looking for. Now i also need amen bar and i believe i see how to add that. I just had trouble finding the choose folders option - I didn't appreciate that there was a drop down list hidden in the all folders choice.
