Large download button

A nice large, clearly marked download button for clients. There was a java based way to do this in the legacy platform.

Yes, and to be more specific, it would be nice to have a general way of placing this button where we wish. The custom JavaScript version in the Sticky for Legacy Smugmug was great and very easily visible. Something like that would be great if no customization options are provided.

agree with this 100 percent, a must as the tiny arrow will just go unnoticed by the average client.

A download image and also a download all option would be very useful..

You can add the word "Download" to your download buttons with this CSS:

.sm-button.sm-button-image-download:after {
    content: " Download" !important;
}

That should make them easier to spot. You can even make the word bigger:

.sm-button.sm-button-image-download:after {
    content: " Download" !important;
    font-size: 125%;
}

one thing ive noticed is theres a download icon on all my galleries even fully protected ones, it was like it before adding the download text, i havent unveiled so cant tell if this is how it looks to a client or just the owner view ?

That's just the owner view. The download button only appears to your visitors if you have the display of Original size images enabled for the gallery.
