Improved 'Items I Choose' interface

For the Navigation Content Blocks 'Folders', 'Pages', 'Galleries' and 'Folders, Galleries & Pages', when the user chooses "Items/Folders/Galleries/Pages I Choose" they currently have to start all over choosing what to put in the block, and the items are displayed in the order they are chosen.
Better would be:
1) Start by displaying the items chosen
2) Allow deletion of items
3) Allow addition of items
4) Allow manual sort, and perhaps the other sort options as found when sorting photos in a gallery.
I'm using the 'Folders, Galleries & Pages" block on my home page so I can mix galleries and folders. I'd like to be able to change it easily so I can highlight what's new.

You've probably already added some votes since I think you commented on it already. But, I figured I'd post and add the link here in case someone else comes along with the same issue and wants to add some votes.
I have used the multiple galleries page element on several pages. I discovered that the order in which the galleries are presented in the block is the order in which I selected them. That's OK (but not ideal) for a static page, but I have one page I use to introduce new galleries on my site and I would like that page to be in the order of newest gallery first. Unless I remove all of the galleries from the page element and add them back again the new entries are added to the end.
I'd like to have the option of seeing the selected galleries in order and rearranging them.

Thanks, I was about to do that myself.
I hope they keep some of the "old" feature requests that relate to the new smugmug, but according to
http://www.dgrin.com/showthread.php?t=237461
they might be wiping it and starting over.

The camera doesn't make a bit of difference. All of them can record what you are seeing. But, you have to SEE.

I'm a bit floored by the fact that when I go to edit a page that has multiple photos on it, the selection page shows me the number of photos I have selected but no indicator as to where those photos live. I need to remember exactly which galleries in which folders I have selected in order to change them, not good.

I guess no changes have been made by smugmug...
I sure wish there was an easier way to "organize" the homepage.
I also want my newest gallery at the top....
...and I add new galleries on a weekly basis!!
Surely a fairly simple thing to introduce, can't believe this has been missed off the list ...
Can we have a status on this?

Changing this would make the product much easier to use. Any chance of getting an indication of where this sits in the "to do" list (assuming it is there!)?

Denise, see the related thread Folders, Galleries, & Pages content blocks do not allow editing of selections. We have had some motion here in the last few days, although still with some odd side-effects.
The problem with the ordering is very unfortunate though. I was previously able to deselect one or more entries and add a new entry and the ordering was preserved. Now the order is essentially destroyed. I'll experiment some more to see if I can find a series of steps that works for me.
Update on 15 September:
Unfortunately the changed interface does not behave well at all. The only way I've found to preserve the ordering is to deselect and then reselect all of the entries in the content block. That's not a good solution.
