creating a page in new smugmug in text and html

hallo,
can you explain how to make a page like :
http://www.labrophotography.com/about/

I have already tried this :
http://labrophotography.smugmug.com/About-Me

i have found i need to be on homepage, create page, give it a name and then use the "+" to add a photo or a text

apparently when i drag blocks on the page some green placement blocks appear so i can add a text and then drag the image at start of text to have it floating left.

q1. how can i reduce a little bit the image size keeping same aspect ratio ?
q2. how can i make titles (about me, my equipment on the link above) and texts like the link above. do i need to drag a title, then drag a text block to write the first paragraph, then drag a title block,... ? can i change the font, size, color of my titles ?
q3. how do we make a bullet list as you see for the list of my equipment on llink above ?
q4. if i found it is finally easier to use html code with <h3>, <img>,<p> how can i do that ? i have seen a html block but no idea how it works

After you have added the image bloc go into edit for it and in the 'photo size' option select 'custom'. I set mine to 100x100 pixels, but you can set whatever you like. You can thus preserve the aspect ration that you also mentioned. See mine http://www.macromeister.co.uk/Admin/About

concerning q1 : changing image size on a page
in your case 100x100px was easy

in my case, custom asks for width and height. in my mind i set height and soft must compute width according to ratio chosen, i don't intend to check my ratio and compute myself.

i have however found two other ways in the menu you mention :
- choose small, medium or large size. no values between however
- change container width from 480px to 360px and it works fine with fine tuning

Hi Marc,

I see you got the photo size question answered. So onto #2. Drag the "Titles" Content Block to the page. Those will create the very nice headers you desire. I think the XS size will work best for you.

To make a bullet list, I would actully make the list in another text editor and then just copy it to the Text block.

To use HTML, just use the HTML content block in the "Code" section of the customizer.

do you mean that i need to split my unique text block into separate ones and drag titles block for "about me" and "my equipment" ?

sometimes green parts don't accept to be below a text blcok, perhaps due to the presence of the floating image...

i already tried to drag title, then text, then title, then text

The green boxes just show relative location, such as above, below, left, right. You can then adjust the size of the boxx if the auto size (based on the content you populate) isn't good enough. Yes, You would need multiple text boxes if you have title boxes seperating them. You have the right idea with your above workflow.

how can i change this ?

color is limited : muted (grey) and accent (cyan) !!!
size is limited : xs or s here to avoid huge title
