Sharegroup showing customization

On the old platform, if I had all my galleries set to hide owner in a share group, the gallery page would hide my customization, and no way to get on my custom site. On the new platform, I have my link to the share group All the galleries are set to hide owner, but you can still access the rest of my site, and all the thumbs say "unlisted" on them (very confusing) It kinda defeats the purpose of a share group when you show my custom site and not some type of default smugmug page.
