Need Q&A on transition... issue with new galleries?

Since there is a lack of instructions with the change, I thought I read somewhere that there is an issue with adding galleries/photo to the existing (old site) or something like that. I can't seem to find where I read that.
Can anyone add their insight or link to a Q&A section for the transitions.
