A few from National Parks

Earlier this summer I took a trip out west, visited some national parks and Page, AZ. I'll include just few images here but more can be viewed at my website & blog.
Arches NP, Double Arch reflection
Grand Tetons NP, Sunset
Page, AZ, Upper Antelope Slot Canyon
Page, AZ, Lower Antelope Slot Canyon
The slot canyons are controlled by the Navajo Nation so I applied for and received a Navajo Nation Photographer's Permit, this allows sale and use of my images for publishing, etc.
One of the rarest opportunities to be had is photographing a slot canyon at night. I didn't hesitate to do so when the chance came. This is just one of several truly unique images.
Taking images at night can be challenging, but also very rewarding. This one is of the Milky Way over the Yellowstone River in Hayden Valley. The moon was nearly full so the contrast isn't as great as one might hope for, but it lit up the valley nicely.
The second night I was camped at Madison (in Yellowstone) I went out in hopes of capturing the Milky Way, little did I know there had been a solar flare that day and I was going to witness the Northern Lights, too. This was taken near the Lower Geyser Basin.
