Customize search results page

Maybe I'm missing something--how can I customize the gallery style and formatting of search results? If I search by date or keyword I get the Collage Landscape that I chose as a default style, but if I search by text it's some sort of grid layout. It's inconsistent and I'd like it to also be Collage Landscape. Click the search menu and try the various methods in my drop down menu to see what I mean: http://galleries.aaronpriestphoto.com/

Also, it would be cool if we could customize the keyword page to try the new 3D view for keywords.

you can create a new page for keyword search, use the 3d view, customise how many keywords are shown,etc. Then link to that one rather than the default keywords page.

Two more search issues: I uploaded some photos six hours ago. Finally one showed up when searching by the date taken within the past couple minutes. The other three still have not. Indexing must be really crawling today?

Secondly, the search results appear in order of date taken when I am logged in, which is what I want, but when I log out they seem to be random. So they are not appearing in the order I desire to a client.

EDIT: All of the images have now shown up. It just took many hours before they were indexed I guess. Strangely I could search by keyword and find them as soon as they were uploaded, but by date took many, many hours. Any idea why the order is by date taken when I am logged in and not when I am logged out? They don't match date uploaded or modified either when logged out, seems random.
