Small selecting images quirk

I have a few questions and a few little quirks I've noticed. I was just wondering if one of the smugmug heroes could help me out!
When I have a gallery with a lot of images and I try to select them all by holding down shift and choosing the first and last image, it only selects a bundle of them. I haven't figured it out but sometimes its really intermittent selecting of every other 10 images or sometimes it just leaves a whole bunch out.
Is anyone else having this issue?
