Allow choices regarding social media sharing

I'd like to suggests that Smugmug allow us to choose which social media sites we wish to allow our photographs to be shared upon...not all social media is created equal (or equally important) for all of us. I know some professionals wish to avoid Pinterest, for instance. I wish to avoid twitter, but I want my friends to use facebook. Please allows us to turn off some social media sharing and leave others active!

(If this is already possible, please let me know!)

I agree. I'd like to have the option for people (or myself) to be able to share a photo via all of the social media sites that are already offered as a way to connect with us. Having only Facebook, g+ and twitter aren't enough. I'd like Flickr, Pinterest, Instagram, and Tumblr, too.

And having the ability to turn certain ones on or off is important.

I'd also like to have control over the size of the photo being shared, and whether (and which) watermark is being used when sharing the photo.

Is there a separate class name for each of the Share menu items? If so, perhaps you could just select the ones you want to hide via CSS.

In the Legacy system, this can be accomplished via jfriend's Hiding menu items customization #19.

    +1

This one thing on SM is irritating. We pay for the service - the service shouldn't pick and choose which social media share buttons to include or not include based on corporate politics or ad money or whatever.

For instance, why was there a Tumblr button on legacy and now not a Tumblr button? I started a Tumblr blog just because it existed. Like I said, irritating.

Once again, all of this is somewhat shocking to me. I mean, having 3 sites only? This year? Good grief, what site does that? And how in the world is it that we wouldn't have the means to turn off certain ones? I have to stop reading. I feel so mad right now.
