Changing nickname on Contact Page

Hi -

I added a contact page and I was wondering if there was a way to change the name on the Contact page. My Smugmug nickname is scottbuckel, but I want Scott Buckel or Scott Buckel Photography to appear on my contact page.

Also it would be nice to customize the page a bit to allow for my phone number as I have several clients that hate emailing and it woudl be nice for them to be able to call me.

I am also interested in making a change to this. I am listed as "dga17" and would like it to be "Dave Arnold".

I see where I can change it but it appears that making the change changes my Smugmug url.

Currently it is dga17.smugmug.com

I use GoDaddy to change web address to "Dave ArnoldPhotography.com"

Worried that making a change will screw thing up.

Please advise.

Yes Dave, I looked into this too. I still don't have a solution (I'm sure someone will come up with something) ... but I did want to say: Do NOT change your nickname in your account settings. It will change your URL and you don't want to do that at this time.

Try this

Click your name in the upper right on your site
Click Profile
In the MY NAME field type the name of your site

Now when you go to the Contact form it will say Contact "Name you type"
However it the To field on the contact form it will still have your nickname.

You can also change your Site Name and it will then show up on your brower tab instead of your nickname

This didn't work for me. I have both "My Name" and my "Site Name" filled out but it still uses the "nickname" in the Contact form.

This is indeed a known issue in the current contact form which we hope to have fixed soon. Once it is fixed, the contact form will correctly use the "My Name" field from your profile, as you'd expect.

Hi everyone, this should be fixed now. The contact form's To: field will now use what's in "My Name" in your profile data.
